This course is for the person new to firearms. It starts with basics of how to identify the parts of a firearm, safe handling of firearms. You will come away with an understanding of the basics to get started in shooting. This is the course for the non-shooter in your life who will be living with firearms in the house. If you are thinking about taking our Handgun Permit Course/NRA Basic Pistol, this is a great preparatory course.
If you have a pistol or revolver you can bring it, but we supply everything you need to complete the course.
You will get to fire double action revolvers, single action revolvers and semi-automatic pistols.
Equipment list:
-Baseball cap or hat with wide brim.
-Shirt with collars and appropriate shoes. No flip flops. We shoot rain or shine so come prepared.
-Notebook with pencil and paper.
-Snacks
