It has all the bells and whistles you need for competitive shooting, home defense or Law Enforcement applications. And here’s the best part, it only cost you $425.
The SM-1 uses your Remington 870, 1100, or 1187 to give you an 18. 5″ barrel with 17 rounds on your shotgun, new front bead (tritium front sight extra), Speedfeed Stock, jumbo safety, jumbo bolt handle, side saddle, and magazine tube extension. You also get a detailed cleaning, and replacement of seals if necessary.
We believe we have assembled the best combination of quality and value available today. You want be disappointed. Contact us today if you are interested.

17 rounds may sound like a lot, but the extra capacity allows bird shot in the tube with 00 buck in the side saddle and slugs in the butt stock, or any combination to suit a specific situation or personal preference.
The SpeedFeed butt stock pad soaks up a lot of recoil and enables the shooter to put a full mag tube of rounds down range as fast as the trigger can be pulled, and stay on target.
The shorter length facilitates getting in and out of a vehicle in a hurry, and maneuvering in tight spots like a hallway or stairwell.
Got an old 2 3/4″ 12 gauge gathering dust in the back of a closet? Take it to MCC for a makeover.

I have a Remington 1100 30″ barrel with a barrel shround or “rail” on top of the barrel. Can you convert to the SM-1 by (perhaps) cutting the barrel slightly longer than 18.5″ to coincide with the next available shround “post”, or otherwise trimming to fit? Weapon is in great shape, had maybe 50 rounds through it. Also, I would be interested in the tritium front sight and advice on a rear sight, maybe a ghost ring site. Can you estimate the price. How can I send this to you? Do I need to go through a dealer? Thanks
Great questions. Thanks for posting. We can accommodate your ventilated rib barrel. It may mean that we have to cut it a little longer than the 18.5″, but it is not a problem. The tritium front sight is very nice. You would not need a rear sight to pair with it. Finally, the ATF allows you to send your gun directly to us for repair and modifications without going through another dealer. The only stipulation is that we must send the gun back to your address and no where else. You can ship through FedEx or UPS. If you have any further questions please feel free to email or call us. Thanks again for your interest.

Could you do this to a 20 ga 1100? I have an old neglected one that would be perfect for my mom for a home defense weapon. She is not very fond of pistols, and I don’t feel very comfortable with her having the single shot 20 ga she has now.
Keith,
Thanks for your comment. We can do a conversion on a 20 ga, but it won’t be the full conversion that you see. Some of the products, like the Speedfeed sotck, are just not available in a 20 ga format. However, that means that you can save a little money, and besides, I don’t know if your mom needs the speedfeed I anyway. We can put her in a synthetic that will nicely absorb recoil. Why don’t you email me a contact info to info@mossycreekcustom.com, and I’ll be happy to call you and work out the particulars.

Hi, I just found a 1100 at my local gun shop for $325 and a 1187 don’t remember the price. I would like to pick one up and send it to you guys. If both are in simular condition and price do you have a recomendation between the two? I had a couple other questions as well. First question is I would like some kind of rear rifle/ghostring sight? Is that doable? also I would like a little bigger magazine extension, one more round of 2 3/4. Can you do that and then match the barrel and magazine extension legth to be the same. I am also interested in a pistol grip and or adjustable length of pull. oh and a big old round bolt handle? Can you tell me a price for your standard SM-1 and individual prices for my questions. Thank you very much for the help. I am excited and look forward to hearing back from you.
