    Sirs:
I am interested in getting the conversion pkg for my sp101 3″ .357. I was wanting to make sure the conversion price listed does include the bobbed hammer. It is shown in the pics but not listed, so just making sure. Also I like the trausch grips and was wondering if you would install those instead of the Badgers. I love the work you do , that sp looks awesome. I look forward to doing business with you. Have a great day!! Trampis

    Trampis,

Thanks for the comments. We will be happy to do the conversion without the badger grips. You may deduct $75 for the cost of the grips if you supply the grips. Bobbed hammer is not a standard option. It is a cost of $50. We are working on a 2 week turnaround right now. If you want to get started, email me at info@mossycreekcustom.com with a phone number I can reach you at. Thanks again.

    Justin,

This package is available for the 327 mag. We have all the tooling needed and have done this in the past. We love the .327.

Great looking package! Quick question… what do you do with the adjustable rear sight on the 3″ guns when you change the front sight to the Big Dot?

  • admin says:

I have not had that opportunity yet, so I can’t speak with authority on the issue. With the normal revolver sight, you simply place the dot on top of the notch. It generally works well. I would hope that you could adjust for the big dot.

I would like a price on just the trigger
    job,no cosmetics.

    I have a Ruger SP 101 .327 w/adjustable
rear sight. I do not like the rear sight as it leaves much to be desred. What if anything can be done about it? I like the big dot front sight, and bobbed hammer. The trigger I currently have could use some polishing, but the Wolff springs made a world of difference. Please let me know what you could do for me.

I have done one of these before in that caliber with the adjustable sight. We left the sight as is for two reasons. 1. There really aren’t a lot of other options. 2. The sight is only used for windage with the big dot. Place the dot on top of the sight and you have a good picture. I think you would be satisfied as the other gentleman was.

I bought bull grips from Badger. They look awesome. But, they don’t. Allow for proper ejection of spent casings or use of a speed loads. Is this just my set? Or do you guys find the same issues with those that you use to customize your sp-101s. I emailed Badger about the issue and never received a reply.

    Mike,

I’m not familiar with the “bull” grips. Did you mean boot? We have never had a problem with Jim’s work. My suggestion would be to call him. He is quicker that way. I don’t think email is his preferred method of contact.
